The 11th International Conference on Computer Science & Education

On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the 2016 IEEE International Conference on Computer Science and Education (ICCSE 2016), we are very pleased to welcome you to beautiful Cambridge and to the Conference. This is the 11^th ICCSE in a series of annual conferences, which began in 2006 in Xiamen, China. The Conference provides an international forum for presenting the most recent advances in the fields of Computer Science, Education, and related areas of Engineering and Advanced Technologies. Also, the Conference facilitates and promotes information exchange among participants from industry, research laboratories, government organizations, and academia.

This year’s conference reflects the ever growing interests in the computer science and education. Of the 442 initial paper submissions, 175 papers representing 13 countries and regions have been accepted for presentation at the conference after a rigorous full-paper review. This corresponds to an acceptance rate of 39.59%. These papers reflect the dynamism of research activities in information, computing, automation, advanced technologies, and education, and the emergence of innovative topics in research and education that address the ever-increasing challenges from the related educational, industrial and societal needs.

We wish to express our gratitude to all of our sponsoring societies and organizations, in particular, National Research Council of Computer Education in Colleges & Universities, China (CRC-CE),  Nagoya University.

We thank all the individuals who have made contributions to the organization of this conference. Special thanks are extended to our colleagues in the Program Committee for their thorough review of all the paper submissions, which is vital to the success of this conference. We must extend our thanks to the Organizing Committee and the volunteers who have dedicated their time toward ensuring the success of this conference. In this IEEE ICCSE2016 Nagoya, we pay attentions on innovative technologies related with information technology and we aim to get the scope of social applications with focus on educational applications. We invited famous professors as keynote speakers. Professor Fukuda is an expert of Robotics and Mechatronics based on IT. Professor Li is one of the leading professors in the field of Environmental Information technology.  We also invited several other important speakers in this conference.

Through friendly and active discussions, we expect that participants could get new scope of researches and find good research fellows in this ICCSE2016 Nagoya. Please enjoy this conference.
